Sourcing Practice · Practical Checklist

What Information Matters Most When Comparing Chinese Suppliers?

Do not compare unit price alone. MOQ, lead time, specifications, quotation terms, and information reliability also matter.

When comparing suppliers, do not focus only on unit price. Use a consistent table to record specifications, MOQ, quote currency and validity, payment terms, lead time, packaging, certification documents, and responsiveness.

Mark missing information as “not provided” rather than guessing.

Supplier claims may need further verification, and quotations can change with quantity, specifications, and time.
